When his buddy was preparing to retire, an impromptu retirement party came together quickly, and he reached out looking for someone to handle the music and entertainment for the event. Yes, a deposit is required to secure your date. The amount varies based on scope. The remainder is due closer to the event. All details are spelled out clearly in your contract.
